Looks like a kitten, acts like the boss

We adopted Juno in mid June of 2008. She was the only kitten left unadopted from a litter of eight. The daughter of one of Megan's co-workers tried to adopt her, but, since her family had "too many" cats already, Megan was asked if she was interested.

Juno was born on Cinco de Mayo, 2008.

This is the first picture we saw of Juno, the clincher!

Juno moved in and immediately made herself at home.

We noticed right away that she is a mixture of play-ferocious...

... and very friendly. She will sleep on anyone.

She also, surprisingly, seems to enjoy being held.

She is also extremely vocal, especially if she wants something. We think she might be part Siamese.

She will defend her play territory to the death.

... Her toys, too. This look says, "Come have a go, if you think you're man enough!"

Favorite games include stalking humans when they're reading or resting...

... and looking for trouble in general.

When mischief has been managed, she has an unmistakable smugness about her.
